100 poetry feet Latvian centenary
In Latvia, it’s a tradition to organize poetry days every september in honor of our poet and dramatist Rainis.
This is also a special year, our country, Latvia, celebrates its centenary. Malpils district high school decided to create a collage exhibition "The Sixth Century Poetry for the Latvian Century" for these two events.
The poems, authors and mood characteristic of each period were summarized.
The pupils created “feet” poems, thus better understanding the time and the situation.
The historical periods from 1918. to 2018. were also reflected in the chronological order.
